Ashley Allen is a photographer with experience in photojournalism, fine art, and portraiture photography. A former YAA scholarship recipient, Allen finds balance in her work by working between various genres of photography.

 Born and raised in Yarmouth, Maine, Allen’s innate love and appreciation for the outdoors and the beauty of New England shows through her imagery. Allen enjoys equally capturing the simple beauties of the world like landscapes, flowers and animals as well as telling the stories of fellow Mainers through photography.

 Allen’s passion for photography clicked instantly during her first photography class at Yarmouth High School. From then on, Allen has been dedicated to becoming a better photographer and pursuing this craft as a career. After graduating from YHS in 2021, Allen sought out Endicott College's Photography B.S. degree, allowing her to become well-versed in photography, business, and communications.

At Endicott, Allen had two influential internships. The summer of 2022, Allen worked as the staff photographer and videographer for the Janet Mills for Maine re-election campaign. The summer of 2023 Allen interned with the Kennebec Journal as a photojournalist, giving her insight into the local news industry and vast experiences with Maine communities.
