Anne is a self-directed artist/craftsperson inspired by seasons, adventure, mountains, trails, her backyard, water, and unexpected moments of clarity.

When she is not painting, hiking, or making a quilt, she teaches English and writing to both native speaking and multi-lingual students at Yarmouth High School.

LOVE Statement

My first thought wasn’t “love” when I saw and then made these paintings of split glacial erratics on the slopes of Mt Washington. But pairs of huge rocks, dramatically mirroring each other despite gravity, erosion, and treacherous weather for thousands of years…What other force could it be?
