On April 8th, Yarmouth will experience a near-total solar eclipse. From 2:30-4:30pm the public is encouraged to come to the athletic fields at Yarmouth High School to view the eclipse together! Eclipse glasses, pin-hole projectors, and other activities will be available.

Please be aware that since the Eclipse that can be viewed from Yarmouth will not be total. Even though it may seem total, it will NEVER be safe to look at the sun without some kind of protection. Visit the Merrill Memorial Library website to learn more.
